Life
Once I'd come back from Egypt in April (read all about that HERE), I'd pretty much been working non-stop on my dissertation which was due on 9th May. I was also finishing uni, so trying to get all of my assignments done and submitted on time (which I did, you'll be so pleased to know). After finishing uni I stayed in Southampton for a bit to work and then count the General Election votes for my local constituency. It was so exhausting as they ordered two recounts and I didn't get home until 5AM, especially tiring as I hadn't slept in two days.
I also went on a weeks' holiday to Greece with my family, which was just lovely. I had such a great time with my Mum, Dad and sister Sarah, soaking up the sun and just relaxing. Below is a couple of pictures taken from the trip.
As you can see I had a very relaxing time, including a visit to Zante's Water Village, I definitely recommend it if you're looking for something to cool you down from the high temperatures!
Work
I've been working hard over these last few months on a couple of different things, including my podcast Amy Talks Politics. I don't think I've ever mentioned it here before, so if you'd like to subscribe on iTunes or listen on Mixcloud then please do and let me know what you think. Apart from that I've been applying for jobs left, right and center, with a couple of interviews and not much success. Oh well, the perfect job will come along I'm sure.
That's my little round-up of what I've been up to recently and why my I haven't been blogging. I will be posting more regularly now that I have more time to write. Hope you've all been well, comment what you've been up to :)
Happy Listening!
