M&S - With Love From Mrs. Claus
Marks & Spencers are fairly new to the heartwarming Christmas ads, and this is a great one. It features Santa going on his merry way to deliver presents to all the children around the World. But as he leaves, Mrs Claus receives a heartfelt letter from Jake, a 6-year old who wants to give something to his sister for Christmas. I won't spoil the story, but it is very cute and shows the true meaning of family.
Sainsbury's
Sainsbury's have really upped the stakes this year with a story about self-appreciation (and also cloning, but you'll have to see the advert to find out about that). It's set around a guy who's having a mare being late for work and having all the stresses of Christmas get the better of him, but realises that the greatest he can give is himself. An upbeat ad narrated by song from the Carpool Karaoke star James Corden (who's an amazing singer by the way) and brilliant animation, it's sure to warm you inside when you see it on your screens.
John Lewis
Everyone around the UK waits expectantly in December for the annual John Lewis ad. Last year we had the heart-wrenching story of loneliness that raised awareness of charity Age UK and their campaign to help lonely pensioners at Christmas, which is just lovely and made everyone tear up. This year's ad however wasn't a tearful one, but instead one that made you laugh.
If you haven't seen it, I'll give you a quick rundown: there's a family with a dog called Buster who's a Boxer and he sees that his owner's daughter is getting a trampoline for Christmas, as her Dad is out building it in the middle of the night. When it's finished being built all the animals in the garden get on the trampoline and jump, having a great time - everyone except Buster. You'll have to watch to see how it ends but it is so cute and creative. Take part in the conversation about it using the hashtag #BusterTheBoxer.

Waitrose
The cute story in the Waitrose ad this year features a robin, flying home to the UK to see a little girl who's left out a mince pie for him. Watch it above, the cinematography in it is incredible.
So those are my favourite Christmas adverts from this year. Are there any I've missed? Let me know in the comments 😚
Happy Listening!
